Business Plan Competition
SAEF believes if small and medium-size business sector is to grow, we must foster a new generation of creative entrepreneurs.
Mindful of this responsibility, SAEF hosted for the fifth consecutive year its “Business Plan Competition” for Slovak university students.
The mission of the competition is to:
- provide an integrative, real world learning experience for the participating students
- help educate students in the process of creating and evaluating a new business venture
- encourage students to consider the risks and rewards associated with entrepreneurship in their professional careers and
- reward superior performance.
Participation in this competition entails the development of a detailed business plan for either start-up of a new enterprise or expansion of an existing company.
SAEF’s jury of distinguished business and academic leaders focuses on effective usage of capital, financial strategy and adequate return on investment. Creativity and the viability of the chosen strategy also are important criteria.
